The murder of Ardian Nikulaj, under strict security measures, comes before the Court Ruben Saraiva

The trial against the executor of businessman Ardian Nikulaj, the Portuguese Ruben Saraiva, is being held today.

Just a few minutes ago, he arrived at the Court of Lezha, under the presence of strict security measures. The trial will be held at 10 o'clock with closed doors, where it is expected that Saraiva will be recognized with the measure of arrest in prison.

Just two days ago, eight months after the murder of Ardian Nikulaj in Shengjin, Ruben Ribeiro Saraiva, suspected by Albanian justice as the businessman's executioner, was extradited from Morocco to Albania in handcuffs.

The extradition of the 28-year-old Portuguese resident in London, from where he was recruited to commit the murder, was made possible by an intensive cooperation of Interpol Tirana and the Directorate of Foreign Relations in the state police with the Moroccan authorities.

The morning of Sunday, December 31 found Saraiva on Albanian soil to be placed at the disposal of Albanian justice.

From the evidence collected so far by the prosecution of Lezha, it appears that Ruben Ribeiro Saraiva was the executor of Ardian Nikulajt. The cold-blooded footage of the well-orchestrated execution was also published in many media outlets around the world.

He is charged with "Murder for blood feud" and "Illegal production and possession of weapons".

The rest of the group, one Albanian and four Englishmen, who watched the victim and passed the information to the murderer Ruben Ribeiro Saraiva, have been arrested for this murder in England and are in the process of extradition.

The extradition court in London will consider the request for their extradition from Albania in March.
