The macabre murder of Ilaria Sula by her ex-boyfriend, the Rome Prosecutor's Office demands immediate trial for Mark Samson! The 22-year-old's father: Justice must be served

Rome prosecutors have requested immediate trial for Mark Antony Samson, 23, who has pleaded guilty to the murder of his ex-girlfriend, Ilaria Sula.
The murder took place in an apartment on Homs Street, in the Africano neighborhood of Rome, where the young Albanian woman was stabbed three times in the neck and then her body was hidden in a suitcase and thrown into a ravine in the Capranica Prenestina area.
Prosecutors, led by state prosecutor Giuseppe Cascini, accuse Samson of premeditated murder, nefarious motives and an emotional attachment to the victim, as well as concealing a corpse.
Samson's mother is also under investigation in this proceeding, suspected of collaborating in hiding the body.
Among the evidence that has worsened Samson's position is a message that investigators found on his phone, where he wrote to friends about Ilarian: "Either come back with me, or I'll kill her."
In the decision last April, which confirmed the detention and imposed the measure of detention in prison, investigating judge Antonella Minunni emphasized that "what stands out is the self-control and clarity with which Samson acts, especially after the murder of Ilaria."
Despite his statements that he couldn't live without her and that he couldn't imagine life without her, he continued his life as if nothing had happened.
According to the investigation, after the murder, he met a friend of Ilaria's, ate a piadina with her, and talked about the problems he had with Ilaria, as well as about ordinary, unimportant issues.
The judge added that Samson showed no empathy or remorse, sending the girl's father fake messages as if they had been sent by Ilaria herself, and did the same with her friends, letting them believe that she was still alive.
Following the prosecutor's request, there has been a reaction from Ilaria's family, where her father has once again expressed that he seeks justice for his daughter.
"Those people have caused a lot of pain to my family. I hope justice is served," Flamur Sula, Ilaria's father, told ANSA.
"Ilaria had her whole life ahead of her. It is not fair that my princess should end in this terrible way. I have faith in Italian justice, " concluded Flamur Sula.
