Murder for revenge/ The two brothers arrested in Italy, Stenaldo's uncles

New details have come to light regarding the arrest of two Albanian brothers in Italy, this Thursday afternoon.
According to reports, Artur Mëhilli, 60 years old, and Arben Mëhilli, 54 years old, internationally wanted for a crime that occurred in 1999 in Lushnja, are the uncles of former Big Brother Vip 5 resident, Stenaldo Mëhilli.
They were sentenced in 2001 by the Lushnja Court for "premeditated murder", committed in collaboration, as well as for "unlicensed possession of weapons", to 15 years and 6 months and 16 years and 6 months of imprisonment, respectively.
According to the investigation, on September 12, 1999, the two brothers shot and killed citizen Rezar Metaj, for blood feud reasons, after the latter had killed their brother in 1997. After the crime, they fled to Italy using false identities, with which they also obtained a residence permit.
According to media reports, Sokol Mëhilli, their brother killed in '97, turns out to be Stenaldo's father.
Following the arrest in Italy, Albanian and Italian authorities are cooperating to finalize the extradition procedures of Artur and Arben Mëhilli to Albania, to serve their sentence.
