The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Tirana, completed the investigations and sent citizen IH to trial for the criminal offense of 'Theft resulting in death' provided for by Article 141 of the Criminal Code.
In the framework of the investigations into criminal proceedings no. 258 of 2025, it was proven that citizen IH caused the death of his neighbor, citizen Xh.M., found dead in the village of Shëngjin i Vogël in the administrative unit of Shëngjergj, Tirana on 13.01.2025.
The forensic examination proved that the victim lost his life as a result of severe head injuries, which were caused by hard tools such as a hammer.
While the perpetrator, citizen IH, questioned and re-questioned by the prosecution, admitted that he hit his neighbor after they had their morning coffee after a long-standing anger, since the victim often told him that he was not a man, since he stayed at work for 4 days without coming home, and did not know what to do with his wife. The perpetrator also admitted that he also took the amount of money that the victim always carried with him tied to a bag around his neck.
Due to the close relationship that existed between him and the victim, citizen IH was aware of the fact that the victim always carried a bag tied around his neck, where his money was located, and after committing the murder, he fled to his daughter's house in Vora, where he left the murder weapon and the amount of money.
At the conclusion of the investigations, the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction, Tirana, sends citizen IH to trial for committing the criminal offense of 'Theft resulting in death' to the detriment of the victim, citizen Xh.M.
Isuf Hasa, 64 years old, went to the apartment of his neighbor Xhemal Meta and for weak motives shot him with a hard tool (hammer) in the back of the head, causing his death.
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that the alleged perpetrator Isuf Hasa, after hitting the victim, took a quantity of monetary values that he was carrying in his pocket, and then left.
From the numerous searches carried out in several apartments of the author and his family members, an amount of 200,000 new lek was found and seized.
During the searches carried out at the apartment of citizen LH (the daughter of the suspected perpetrator) in the village of Gjokaj, Vora, the Police Services found and seized as material evidence the suspected item (hammer) with which the perpetrator committed the murder.
In the operational phase, Specialists from the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector at the Tirana Police Department, the services of Police Station No. 4, Police Station No. 7, under the direction of the Tirana Prosecution Office, were involved.
At the conclusion of the first investigative actions, citizen Isuf Hasa was arrested for the criminal offense of "Premeditated Murder".
