Erjon Llapushi, who killed the waiter, is sentenced to 17 years in prison in absentia

The Elbasan Court has sentenced Erjon Llapushi from Pogradec to 17 years in prison in absentia, who was found guilty of the murder of waiter Gazment Kurmaku, an event that occurred on October 2, 2021, in a restaurant in Labinot Fushë, Elbasan.
The crime occurred after an argument between them. Erjon Llapushi was sitting at a table of 4 with a friend of his, which was reserved for 4 other people.
One of the waiters called the head waiter, Gazment Kurmaku, who informed him of this and asked him to move them from that table and go to another room where only two people could sit.

Head waiter Gazment Kurmaku died in hospital 5 days after being stabbed by Erjon Llapushi.
