New details continue to emerge from the murder that happened a few days ago in Peqin prison, where Sokol Mjacaj shot dead Arben Lleshin and injured Indrit Shaqjan.
In the investigation file published by the media, it is said that the firearm that Sokoli used was found in the premises of meetings with family members. Also, two metal parts such as those of the bullet shells and 5 cartridges with a hit capsule were found.

During the inspection of the room, in the front part of the entrance door, there is a window, which has a curtain hanging on the upper part, which has a passing through hole with dimensions of 4×4.5 cm. After opening the curtain, one notices the window with two metal and glass sashes where the glass on the right side of the window has a piercing hole measuring 3.5×5.5 cm. Below the window near a bench were found two pieces of pressed metal similar to those of war cartridge shells. Then the inspection continues in the premises of the meeting building of section B in high security where at the entrance of the building at a distance of 150 cm. A firearm with the number J 132766 was found in the premises, which is adapted for meetings with family members, where inside the case they found and seized as material evidence 5 cartridges with a hit capsule. During the inspection of the scene, red stains similar to those of human blood were taken with a sterile swab. Regarding the material evidence, decisions were drawn up for the dactyloscopic, ballistic and biological examination.
In the file, it is further stated that 7 hard drives with the recordings of the internal and external cameras of the prison were seized. We remind you that today the court is expected to give the decision on the security measures for Sokol Mjacaj and 12 other detainees, guards and civilians, who are suspected to have cooperated with the author of the murder to introduce the weapon inside the premises of Peqin prison. The director of the prison, Kamer Hoxha, is also behind bars.
