Fire in Dukat/ Flames are spreading towards the top of the mountain, Llogara Park is at risk

This Saturday, July 19, began with a "war" to extinguish the flames of the fire on Mount Dukat.

Meanwhile, during the afternoon hours, the flames have grown larger, and due to strong winds, they are spreading towards the top of the mountain.

If the wind continues to blow from the northeast, the Llogara National Park is also at risk.

A large number of pines, firs and other types of trees have been destroyed by the fire. 20 firefighters are on the mountain, while aerial intervention is required to extinguish the flames. Due to the difficult terrain, it is impossible to intervene with firefighting vehicles, while work is being done with shovels and tree branches to isolate the flames.
