"Zvërnec South Adriatic Development" gives up the construction permit for the resort in Zvërnec!

The company "Zvërnec South Adriatic Development" has officially withdrawn its application for a construction permit for the tourist resort that was planned on the Zvërnec Peninsula.
It withdrew its request to build the planned tourist resort in the Pishe Poro Nartë area, according to MCN TV. Earlier, we recall that according to the documentation, the project had passed to the National Territorial Council (KKT), while the Territorial Development Agency had initially issued the permit for the start of works.
It was the Territorial Development Agency itself that confirmed the news to MCN TV, which said that "Zvërnec South Adriatic Development", with administrator Isida Çela, has filed a request for the withdrawal of the construction permit, approved in January 2025, reports PolitikOn.al.
This comes at a time when a wave of protests have spread in Tirana and several other cities in Albania, demanding that the resort in question in Zvërnec not be built. Regarding the issue of properties in Zvërnec, SPAK has opened an investigation into several people suspected of having falsified ownership documents in that area.
