Indonesian authorities announced they have found the wreckage of a fishing surveillance plane that was reported missing in the southern province of Kelibia.
The plane, an ATR 42-500, belonging to the Indonesia Air Transport group, lost all contact with air traffic control in the Maros area, South Kelibia, while there were eight crew members and three passengers on board.
The aircraft was chartered by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries and was carrying out fisheries surveillance missions. It was reported that all three passengers were employees of the ministry.
