Israel continues attacks on Iran, IDF: We believe we have hit an underground nuclear facility

Israeli forces announced today that they had struck an underground facility west of Tehran where a group of scientists were said to be working in complete secrecy on a nuclear weapons development program.
The operation dealt a substantial blow "to the Iranian regime's capacity to develop nuclear weapons."
According to the Israeli military statement, intelligence services "continued to monitor the activities of the Iranian scientists and identified their new location, enabling a precision strike on the underground complex."
The Israeli military identified the facilities on the western edge of Tehran and designated them as "Minzadehei," adding that "scientists have been working there since the time Israel struck several nuclear installations" during the previous war against Iran in June 2025.
Israeli military spokesman Efi Defrin said that the Iranian leadership continued to work on developing the necessary capabilities to produce nuclear weapons, despite the major damage suffered by the nuclear program during the June 2025 war.
The Israeli military writes on Platform X that "the secret 'Minzadehei' complex was used by a group of nuclear scientists working to develop a key component for nuclear weapons."
