Israel says it has struck an Iranian base suspected of being linked to nuclear weapons development

The Israeli military has announced that it has struck a base in Iran. According to Israel, the facility targeted was intended to develop nuclear weapons.

According to international media, the fighter jets targeted the secret "Min-Zedai" complex, an underground structure where Iran's nuclear weapons group operated under the country's Ministry of Defense.

On the other hand, Iran has declared that it is ready for a long-term war against the United States and Israel and that it has not yet used its most advanced weapons.

"We have the ability to resist and continue an aggressive defense for a longer period of time than what (the enemy) has envisaged for this war that it has imposed," said Iranian Defense Ministry spokesman General Reza Talai-Nik.
