The police station in Kherson is bombed, four dead and 18 injured
Four policemen were killed and 18 others wounded yesterday in a Ukrainian attack on a police station in a part of the Russian-controlled Kherson province, Russian state news agency TASS reported today.
Ukrainian forces reportedly fired a missile from an American-made HIMARS system, citing a local police spokesman.
Five policemen are in serious condition.
Fighting in Kherson province has intensified in recent months, with Ukrainian forces carrying out a series of operations on the Russian-controlled east bank of the Dnieper River.
