Two ministers call on Netanyahu: Let's occupy the entire Gaza Strip!

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich have asked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to order the complete occupation of the Gaza Strip, including Gaza City. The request was made during a cabinet meeting and was reported by broadcaster Channel 14.
Meanwhile, Netanyahu, in a video posted on the X network, called his recent visit to Washington with President Donald Trump “a great success.” He rejected accusations that he is blocking a ceasefire agreement with Hamas, blaming Israeli media for spreading Hamas propaganda.
According to him, Israel has accepted ceasefire proposals suggested by international mediators, while Hamas has rejected them. Netanyahu said Hamas wants to stay in Gaza to rearm and attack again, which he does not accept.
He reiterated the two main objectives of the war: the release of the hostages and the destruction of Hamas, emphasizing that Gaza should no longer pose a threat to Israel.
