An explosion was recorded this evening at the residence of the Norwegian ambassador in Tel Aviv, at the height of tensions between Israel and Iran.

The news was confirmed by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs itself, through an official statement to the media.

"Today we are in constant contact with the Norwegian embassy in Tel Aviv. Up to this moment, no member of the diplomatic staff has been injured," the statement said.

Norwegian authorities did not provide further details on the nature or causes of the explosion, which remain unclear while investigations are ongoing.
