Russian attacks in Ukraine, President Zelensky reiterates call for civil ceasefire

Volodymyr Zelensky has again repeated his call for a ceasefire and a halt to strikes on civilian infrastructure.

“Ukraine proposed to extend the ceasefire after Easter and make it comprehensive,” he said, noting Russian attacks on Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv today.

"Our proposal to stop attacks on civilian infrastructure also remains on the table. What is needed is real willingness from Russia to engage in this conversation," he added, while stressing that  "there is and will be no impasse on the Ukrainian side."
