Heavy blow to Russia as Ukrainian secret service eliminates Putin's rocket scientist

A major blow to Putin's weapons program: The Ukrainian military intelligence service HRU killed Russian rocket scientist Mikhail Schatsky near Moscow.
This was reported by Ukrainian media, including the Hromadske station, citing intelligence officials. Photos of the suspected corpse are circulating on social networks.
Schatsky worked for a Russian state-owned aerospace company and played a key role in the development of various weapons systems. Among them: the Russian Kh-69 missile, as reported by the Russian newspaper "Moscow Times".
Putin's military used the Kh-69 system, for example, to destroy the Trypillya power plant, which is important to the Kyiv region. The missile is considered one of the biggest threats to Ukraine's air defense. Shatsky is also said to have participated in the development of drones used by Russia.
A Ukrainian intelligence official told Hromadske: "Any person who, in one way or another, is involved in the development of the Russian military-industrial complex, thereby supporting Russian aggression against Ukraine, is a legitimate target for the defense forces. ."
The killing of Shatsky is said to have taken place in the Kuzminsky forest park, Ukrainian newspaper Kyiv Independent reports. A video on Platform X shows police officers arriving at the scene.
Journalist Alexander Nevzorov posted a photo of what is believed to be Shatsky's body, lying lifeless in the snow. He writes: "It seems that none of those who are guilty of genocide against Ukrainians will die a natural death."
The Russian FSB secret service recently arrested a German citizen in Nizhny Novgorod. He is accused of having planned an act of "sabotage" on a railway line.
The development and improvement of weapons systems is a central aspect in the war between Ukraine and Russia./ Bild
