A tourist from Serbia was enjoying the sun and sea at Komiliou beach in Lefkada, Greece, but on the way she tried to walk on a steep rocky area.
As a result, she lost her balance and fell from the cliff, being seriously injured.
Greek media reports that after several hours of efforts by the Fire Department and volunteer rescuers, she was transported by boat to Agios Nikitas, where an ambulance took her to the hospital in Lefkada.
To save it, an operation was organized from the sea, as the point was not accessible from land. In the area where the tourist fell, calls are always made by the local authorities not to cross on foot, or not to stand near the rocks even while they are in the beach area.
