Habit "Washington Post": Kamala Harris will run again in the 2028

It's been 40 days since Kamala Harris lost the presidential election, and the same number of days until Donald Trump's inauguration.

Some members of the US Democratic Party are dreaming of seeing the outgoing vice presidential candidate in the 2028 election.

The Washington Post reported Monday that some Democratic officials believe Trump's victory proved that someone who lost a previous bid for the presidency can become president. Because Trump rewrote the rules, so can Kamala Harris.

At the same time, the party is building the narrative that Harris' loss was not as big as it seemed. He even managed to collect $1.5 billion in donations and with higher popularity ratings than what he entered the fray with.

While the vice president hasn't ruled out running again, she may have set a more attainable goal. According to the scenarios, she will run for governor of California in 2026 when Gavin Newsom's term expires.
