Powerful earthquake strikes central Iran, epicenter near uranium reserve

A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck the central region of Iran, the cities of Tehran, Qom and Semnan.
The US Geological Survey (USGS) said the epicenter was 36 kilometers southwest of the city of Semnan and the focal depth was 10 kilometers.
The epicenter was located east of Tehran, near Qom, where the Fordow uranium enrichment plant is located, and its focal depth was 10 km.
