He survived an assassination attempt and is accused of coup, the health condition of the former president of Brazil worsens

Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro's health has deteriorated following abdominal surgery about two weeks ago. According to medical reports, he is suffering from high blood pressure and elevated liver enzyme levels.
Bolsonaro underwent surgery on April 13 in the Brazilian capital for problems related to his small intestine. He will need to undergo further examinations to further assess the situation.
No date has been given for his release from the hospital. The 70-year-old politician has been in intensive care since the surgery.
The right-wing former president has had several surgeries since the knife attack he suffered during the 2018 election campaign.
Meanwhile, he is also accused of involvement in a coup plot against the government of his successor, current President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, after his defeat in the October 2022 elections.
