"Iran, a paper tiger", Trump: I am disappointed, some countries are not enthusiastic about the war

US President Donald Trump repeated his call for nations to help unblock the Strait of Hormuz and complained that some of them were not very enthusiastic about offering assistance to Washington.
Trump wants nations to help secure the Strait, after Iran responded to US-Israeli attacks by using drones, missiles and mines to effectively close the channel to tankers that normally carry a fifth of global oil and liquefied natural gas, A2 writes.
"Iran has always used the Strait of Hormuz as an economic weapon. And it won't be able to use it for much longer. Many countries have told me they are on the right track. Some are very enthusiastic about it, and some are not. Some are countries that we have helped for many, many years. And we have protected them from terrible outside sources. And they were not so enthusiastic.
And the level of enthusiasm, it matters to me. But they said we prefer not to get involved. I just want the fake news media and everyone else to remember that that was said. Because when I was a big critic of all the defenses of countries, because I know that we will defend them. And if we ever needed it, if we ever needed help, they would not be there for us. I've known that for a long time." We strongly encourage other nations to get involved with us and to get involved quickly and with great enthusiasm.
"I've heard this from some of them and I'd like to mention their names, but honestly, I don't know if they would want me to do it or not, because maybe they don't want to be targeted. But I say it wouldn't matter if you're targeted or not, because this is a paper tiger that we're dealing with now. It wasn't a paper tiger two weeks ago. It's a paper tiger now," Trump said.
