Israel bombs weapons depot in northwest Syria

The Israeli army announced this evening that it had struck a military facility, housing a weapons depot in northwestern Syria, while the Syrian news agency and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported an explosion near the port of Tartus.

"Airstrikes by Israeli aircraft in the Tartus area," SANA reported, without mentioning casualties, explaining that civil defense and specialized teams are working to confirm which targets were hit.
