The Narco-Opposition against the Narco-State/Why the DP fails to be a convincing alternative

To understand how the government has collapsed, perhaps we should take a look at the opposition. If we all agree that Edi Rama should go, the question that remains unanswered is: what is the opposition like?
And for this, it is enough to see how they developed an internal primaries process – a competition that, in principle, should have been a value for the internal democracy of a party. But in reality it turned out to be an ugly farce, which they could have spared a public that was tired of demagoguery and propaganda.
For this, it is enough to see the fact that almost 24 hours after the closing of voting for the primaries in Tirana, there is still no result officially published by the DP. And this is not a technical issue, but entirely the political will of the democratic leadership.
Why aren't the results of Tirana announced? Maybe because Berisha & Co. want to put in charge those who are not liked by the Democrats, but are the president's washed-up "loyalists"? Clearly, there is no reason or justification for this impasse, which, more than the rigged primaries, clearly shows the quagmire in which the largest opposition party has sunk.
As for the criminal elements who physically followed the vote counting at the DP offices last night, does Sali Berisha have any explanation? Or will he fight the "narco-government" (as he likes to call it) with a "narco-opposition"?
What alternatives, morals, and new figures will this opposition face in less than two months? Do its leaders really think that the achievements they are making in representing the DP could be an alternative that will defeat Edi Rama?
How is it possible that an opposition that has an almost free field, after the arrests of the most important figures of its political opponents, fails not only to score a goal, but also to come close to the attack zone? Is this opposition also caught in the tentacles of crime, as the majority accuses? Why should people with criminal records appear at the Democratic headquarters during the primary voting process?
One answer is probably related to the fact that the DP will not come to power. It is enough for it to be where it is, in opposition to Edi Rama, where each side firmly supports the other, in a scene that reeks of stale politics.
And for all those who complain that you can't oppose the opposition, I have a simple and honest answer – a popular expression:
"A blind man is a blind man in the yard."
And if you don't have a convincing alternative, at least keep quiet, walk away, and make room for someone else to be an alternative – to give this country the opportunity to choose no longer between the lesser evil, but between good and evil.
