Lavrov ready for new round of talks: Next US-Russia meeting coming soon

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced the imminent development of a new round of talks between Russia and the United States, avoiding providing further details.
"Very soon," was the brief answer he gave to a relevant question during a press conference, without clarifying who would participate or what issues would be discussed.
Diplomatic dialogue between the two countries has intensified since the Trump administration took office in Washington. On February 19, Russia and the United States held talks that lasted more than four hours in Riyadh.
The Russian side was attended, in addition to Lavrov, by Kremlin advisor Yuri Ushakov and the executive director of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, Kirill Dmitriev.
The American delegation included Secretary of State Marco Rubio, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, and the president's special envoy Steve Witkoff.
