Apocalyptic scene in Turkey, fire engulfs the city of Bursa

A large fire broke out on Saturday evening in the Turkish area of Bursa, between the municipalities of Keštel and Gursu, and then, due to strong winds, spread to the settlement of Karahıdır, according to Turkish media.
The settlement was evacuated, but some citizens were trapped behind the fire wall, while vehicles were damaged. Due to the fire, explosions were also heard in nearby quarries.

Due to the rapid spread of the fire, authorities temporarily closed the Bursa-Ankara highway in the direction of Ankara for safety reasons.
