The Serbian government today approved the payment of a grant of 300,000 dinars (2,558.90 euros) to those arrested in Kosovo on suspicion of having committed crimes during the 1998-1999 war against Albanians.
Serbia says it allocates this financial assistance to those arrested for criminal proceedings in Kosovo.
According to a statement by the Government of Serbia, this will provide one-time financial assistance in the amount of 300 thousand dinars for persons who are in prisons and detention units in Kosovo for these reasons, according to the evidence.
The payment of this one-time aid will be made "as soon as possible," the statement said.
