NATO chief Mark Rutte to visit Washington next week for talks with Trump

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will be in Washington from April 8 to 12, where he will hold meetings with US President Donald Trump and senior US officials, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
The visit comes at a time of tension between the US and its European allies, following Trump's criticism of several countries for their positions in international conflicts and warnings about the possibility of the US withdrawing from NATO.
During his stay, Rutte will deliver a speech and participate in a public discussion organized by the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation on April 9.
From April 10 to 12, he will also participate in the Bilderberg Group meeting, an international forum that brings together officials and important figures from the US and Europe.
