Spain accidentally frees Dutch drug lord

Justice officials in Spain have accidentally released from prison the Dutch billionaire who was involved in drugs, the BBC reports.
Karim Bouyakhrichan, believed to be the leader of the Mocro Mafia, was arrested in Marbella in January following a five-year money-laundering investigation.
But he was accidentally released amid uncertainty over a Dutch extradition request before disappearing this month.
Spanish authorities have said they believe the alleged drug cartel boss will be found.
The Minister of Justice, Felix Bolanos, said that the escape was disturbing news, but added that the security forces "will deliver the person to the justice authorities as soon as possible".
The Mocro mafia refers to some of Europe's biggest cocaine cartels and is believed to have smuggled billions of euros worth of drugs from America to the EU over the past 15 years.
They are said to use the major ports in Amsterdam and Rotterdam to move cocaine around the continent.
