"He attempted a coup in 2016", Donald Trump demands the arrest of Barack Obama

In a series of late-night posts on his Truth Social account, US President Donald Trump has leveled various accusations against several of his political opponents.
Of the more than 24 posts, including videos and images created by artificial intelligence, the one that stood out the most was an AI-edited video showing former President Barack Obama being arrested by FBI agents in the Oval Office and a photo, albeit fake, of him wearing an orange prison uniform.
Trump has also called on former President Obama to "get a lawyer" after accusing him of involvement in an attempted "soft coup" aimed at overthrowing him in 2016.
Amid critical stances towards Obama administration officials and the launch of an FBI investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, Trump reiterated his long-standing accusations of so-called "Russian fraud," related to Moscow's interference in the presidential election process.
"It was fabricated intelligence information to fulfill President Obama's political goals," says one of the videos released by Trump, where his former predecessor is seen in a prison suit.
Among other posts, Trump also shared videos of Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, who has called for Obama's criminal prosecution for his alleged role in the investigation into Russian election interference.
Gabbard, in an interview with Fox News, claimed that "intelligence had been politicized at the highest levels under the direction of a sitting president."
Trump also attacked Democratic Senator Adam Schiff, the Wall Street Journal, and the Washington Commanders American football team.
He demanded that the team's name be reverted to "Redskins," a name that was abandoned in 2020 due to criticism that it was offensive to indigenous peoples.
He also called for the Cleveland Guardians baseball team to be reverted to the "Indians," claiming that "the great Indian people want this change." Trump described the move as "Make Indians Great Again," or "MIGA" for short.
