Kocani Tragedy/ Another injured person dies, the number of victims rises to 62

The Ministry of Health in North Macedonia announces that, according to information from the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade, Stojanče Stefanov from Kočani, born in 2001, died from his wounds this morning.
After the fire at the Puls discotheque, Stefanov was immediately taken for treatment to the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade and has been intubated and in critical condition for the past month.
"The patient had burns covering 27 percent of his body and serious injuries from smoke inhalation. He was operated on at the VMA on April 4 and was placed on an ECMO device, which oxygenates the blood through a machine due to smoke inhalation. However, due to the seriousness of the injuries, he was in an unstable condition and in serious general condition for most of his stay in the hospital. The Ministry of Health expresses its most sincere condolences to the family and to all those affected by the tragedy in Kocani," the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
A fire that broke out at the Pulse nightclub in Kočani, North Macedonia, on the morning of March 16, killed dozens of people and injured over 150 others. The fire broke out during a concert with over 500 participants, spreading rapidly after the lighting of pyrotechnic devices. Authorities have launched a wide-ranging investigation into the serious incident.
