Tragic in Greece/ Building collapse kills woman, injures two children

A serious incident shook the center of Corinth on Saturday afternoon, where the collapse of part of an abandoned building took the life of a woman who was accidentally crossing the sidewalk.
According to local media, the incident occurred on Pegasos Street, in the Kalamia area, when a part of the parapet of the terrace suddenly broke off and fell on passersby. The victim was with her two children at the time, who were slightly injured.
The woman was unable to avoid falling construction materials and cement, becoming trapped underneath them and dying at the scene.
Meanwhile, her children were transported to the hospital and are out of danger. Authorities have launched investigations to determine the causes of the collapse, and it is suspected that the dilapidated condition of the abandoned building may have been a key factor in this tragedy.
