A 13% drop has been recorded in the price of oil in Greece since the announcement of Donald Trump's tariffs, while fuel prices show a corresponding downward trend, which is expected to go into the pockets of the Greek consumer, reports Skai.gr.
According to the president of Attica's gas stations, Nikos Papageorgiou, the data surprised even the owners themselves, as traditionally - as Easter approaches - fuel prices increase.
In fact, Greek refineries reacted immediately to Trump's tariffs and lowered the price of fuel by 2 cents per liter.
Papageorgiou estimates that the price decline will continue and last a long time.
As he said, by Wednesday the price of all fuels will be 5 cents cheaper per liter, with prospects for further reductions.
