The TV presenter and sister of the former soccer player of Fiorentina is killed

The 29-year-old Mexican TV star was brutally murdered outside a circus in Mexico. The victim, Paolo Salcedo, is the sister of Mexican soccer player Carlos Salcedo, who years ago played in Serie A with Fiorentina.
Paola Salcedo, a well-loved model and TV presenter in her hometown, died after being shot several times. The crime happened yesterday evening, Monday July 1, outside a circus in the municipality of Huixquilucan de Degollado, Mexico.
Investigators are investigating to clarify the dynamics of the murder: at the moment the main clue is that of a robbery that ended badly. The tragic news, which shocked the world of sports and entertainment, has also been confirmed by the Attorney General of the State of Mexico (FGJEM).
According to what a witness revealed to Mexican media, the 29-year-old left the circus to answer a phone call when a van approached her. Near her car, the woman was hit by several shots from the second vehicle, which then drove away. Paola Salcedo, already in critical condition when help arrived, died in hospital from her severe injuries.
The 29-year-old, leader of the "Líderes del Baño" program, leaves behind a son with the Uruguayan goalkeeper Nicolás Vikonis and her brother Carlos, star of the Mexican national team, currently in the Cruz Azul team, but with a past in Europe, where he wore the jersey of Fiorentina and Eintracht Frankfurt, before returning across the Atlantic to play for Tigres, in Mexico, and Toronto, in Canada.
