Zelensky in London for talks with European leaders, focus on European defense and security

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in the United Kingdom for talks with key European allies.
The talks, which are being hosted by Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Downing Street, also include French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
The three Western powers make up the so-called E3 group and are some of Kiev's strongest allies. The UK and France are leading the "coalition of the willing" initiative to provide security guarantees for Ukraine as part of any future peace process.
We recall that in December last year, Donald Trump urged Russia and Ukraine to sign a plan to end the war, and today we are in its fifth year.
Zelensky, through a post on the "X" platform, said that the main focus of the discussions will be defense in war and cooperation for the security of all of Europe in the field of air defense.
" Europe must be part of the negotiations and must be strong ," he added.
Earlier, he accused Russia of a " dirty" attack , after Kiev officials said a drone had hit a storage facility for spent nuclear fuel near the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
