Zelensky to the media: We have information from security and intelligence services that China is supplying weapons to Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told the media on Thursday that he had received information that China was supplying Russia with weapons, including gunpowder and artillery.

Speaking at a press conference in Kiev, Zelenskyy said, "We will be ready to discuss this in detail."

"We already have general information from the Security Service and intelligence about gunpowder and artillery today. I think that next week we will be able to talk about this in great detail, especially regarding the data according to which we believe that representatives of China are engaged in the production of certain weapons on the territory of Russia," he said.

China has always publicly maintained its neutrality in the Ukraine conflict, but Beijing has provided diplomatic support and economic backing to Russia since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
