Young woman accuses him of drugging and raping her, influencer faces 20 years in prison if found guilty

The controversial social media influencer known by the nickname Clavicular, real name Braden Peters, is facing serious criminal charges in the US. He is accused by a 17-year-old girl of drugging her for sexual purposes and raping her.
According to court documents cited by US media, the 20-year-old allegedly invited the girl to his family's home in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where he then gave her large amounts of vodka during a live broadcast.
The girl, Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza, claims that Peters promised to help her become the “female face of looksmaxxing” if she agreed to participate in a livestream with him. According to the civil lawsuit, the two had been in contact for about a year and had met when Mendoza was 16.
During the broadcast, Peters allegedly gave her large amounts of alcohol. Mendoza told police that the vodka shots were "more like full shots," and she describes herself as someone who doesn't handle alcohol easily.
The documents also allege that Peters told viewers that the girl was 18 and that they were drinking water, in order to circumvent Twitch's restrictions on alcohol.
After the broadcast ended, Mendoza claims she was taken to a bedroom and had sex with Peters while she was too intoxicated to consent. She also claims she was sexually assaulted again the next morning while she was asleep.
In Massachusetts, the legal age of sexual consent is 16, but sexual relations with a person who is unable to consent due to their condition can constitute a criminal offense.
Mendoza says she was too scared to report the allegations to the police at the time and only did so later.
Peters is facing charges this month of rape, drugging a person for sexual purposes and providing alcohol to a minor. The rape charge carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison if convicted.
In addition to the criminal case, Mendoza has also filed a civil lawsuit against Peters in Miami-Dade County. In the lawsuit, she alleges that the two met again in Miami and that the 20-year-old later allegedly forced her to allow her cheeks to be injected with a substance used to melt fat.
According to the lawsuit, the injected substance allegedly contained methamphetamine and caused facial injuries. These claims are also unconfirmed in court.
Peters has not directly commented on the allegations, but in a post on X he wrote that the lawsuit was an attempt to get his attention and described it as "small" and insignificant.
His lawyer, Steve Kramer, has stated that the charges are only allegations and that they have not been proven. According to him, Peters denies the allegations and disputes the way the events have been described. The lawyer has also said that his client will defend himself through legal means.
Peters is expected to appear in court for his first hearing on October 14.
