Faced with the individual immorality of the former mayor of Kuksi and the social and political immorality of "Re-establishment" and the new deputies in his fold, the people of Kuksi easily made their choice. The first was publicly shamed, left and is suffering the consequences of his action, while the second continue to sell their minds, stand strong in their amoral acrobatics, reinventing elements of morality and virtue that are exclusive to them.
Although the municipality of Kuksi is one of the historical bastions of the Democratic Party, politically the result of the partial local elections confirmed several issues:
First, Sali Berisha has definitively closed his political cycle. In two years, apart from consecutive defeats, he has not recorded any victories. He inspires no one except a small handful of militants who, like 'Enver's volunteers', will never understand such a thing. Apart from the militants, a handful of servile and incompetents who have everything in politics as a result of their loyalty to him will continue to stand behind him until the end.
Së dyti, bashkimi i Gaz Bardhit dhe deputetëve të tjerë të PD-së me “Rithemelimin” nuk ka ngjitur, nuk ka frymëzuar, nuk ka përçuar asnjë mesazh pozitiv në radhët e elektoratit, nuk ka forcuar në asnjë dimension opozitarizmin. Bashkimi mekanik dhe i sforcuar ka krijuar efektin e kundërt, nuk ka krijuar asnjë kimizëm, ka thelluar humbjen, ka dekurajuar votuesin, që nuk ka dalë në zgjedhje dhe ka bojkotuar, nuk ka justifikuar në asnjë rrethanë “arsyet” që u bënë publike për një vendim të tillë.
Së treti, gara fiktive në radhët e “Rithemelimit”, përjashtimi prej saj e individëve me potencial dhe me mbështetje të gjerë lokale, mosmarrja në konsideratë e thirrjeve të vazhdueshme që erdhën nga PD-ja lokale për t’u bashkuar dhe për të gjetur gjuhën e përbashkët për një kandidat vendas dhe me banim në zonë, treguan sërish se Sali Berisha është në pazar me Edi Ramën nëpërmjet oligarkëve të përbashkët, si Çet Kastrati, të cilët e mbajnë me financime dhe sponsorizojnë ‘luftën civile’ në radhët e PD-së. Të dhuruarit të Kuksit nipit të Kastratit, është në vazhdën e shitjes së bashkisë së Tiranës për shkak të “Kullës së Revolucionit”.
Së fundmi, mjaftoi mospjesëmarrja e PD-së zyrtare në garë, për shkak të organizimit të saj të brendshëm, dhe lënia e fushës së lirë, për të mos pasur alibi dhe për t’u dhënë një shans demokratëve për të qenë bashkë, për ta qartësuar përfundimisht se përballë mazhorancës dhe pushtetit kërkohet një filozofi tjetër, kërkohet një opozitë që nuk është në pazar duke përfituar kulla në Tiranë dhe duke falur bashkinë në Kukës, kërkohet një opozitë që relalisht nuk merret me luftën e brendshme, por sheh se si të përmirësojë vetveten dhe të bëhet e besueshme në sytë e qytetarëve shqiptarë.
Despite everything, Sali Berisha will continue the calls for stealing votes, for manipulation of the electoral process, for revolution and protests (which never came!), as he has done for 30 years in a row every time he has lost, Gazment Bardhi will continue with his arguments that the union with Berisha is moral, because he makes the opposition stronger, promising to stop the war between the democrats (Berisha's group) and continuing, as he once did with the former, in the same way towards Lulzim Basha, while the democrats and Albanian citizens will continue to distrust the opposition, due to this internal chaos. At least for as long as it will continue like this.
