Who keeps Edi Rama in power?!

Edi Rama's record at the head of the Albanian government is full of crime and corruption; drug cultivation and trafficking, massive theft of the state budget, massive corruption at all levels of government, open links with organized crime, clientelism and nepotism, state violence against the needy, theft and vote buying, violation of laws, procedures and the Constitution, a massive violation of human rights.

However, Edi Rama is not overthrown from power, and the chances are that if the general elections are announced today, he will again be confirmed as Prime Minister.

What and who keeps Edi Rama in power?

The answer is simple:

Edi Rama is kept in power by Sali Berisha.

On the other hand, Sali Berisha continues to keep the Democratic Party occupied, for private and family reasons, which have nothing to do with the interests of Albanian citizens. Of course, Sali Berisha has every right to seek to protect his personal and family rights, but he has no right to involve the party in his private and family battle with the superpowers of the world.

If the Democratic Party were free, that is, if Sali Berisha had not started Foltore at all, but left it out of his war with the United States of America; if this man had been so generous with the Albanian democrats, handing over the mandate of the deputy on May 21, 2021, and in the meantime continued his private battle for personal dignity, today the PD would be completely different.

Unfortunately, this situation will continue until Sali Berisha leaves politics. All democrats of all groups know this very well; including those who continue to support him. This hopeless situation is already understood by most Democrats, despite the fact that they do not speak. I doubt only Flamur Noka and Tritan Shehu. The others all know like bread that they will never win anything with Sali Berisha. Another 1000 years.

Sali Berisha may be completely innocent of everything the United States and Great Britain say. But this is the plight of Sali Berisha, and not the plight of Albania and Albanians. We have trouble removing a mobster and thief like Edi Rama from power.
