Success has many fathers, failures are orphans!

When Vlora was inspiring with its positive energy, with tourists from all over the world and with investments that were finally bearing fruit, everyone was ready to take the credit. Headlines, speeches, photos and applause.
But when problems arise — like the lack of water, which is an old wound on the network that has been rotten for decades, or the fires that break out due to carelessness or are even intentional and affect entire areas — we seek to place the blame on a single person: the Mayor. Let
's be honest: Ermal Dredha has not promised magic, but he has been there — on the ground, in communication with citizens, in concrete efforts, he has sought support from central institutions and has launched a difficult process of reforms to address the roots of the problem, not just the symptoms. He has not done propaganda. He has worked. And he is facing problems that have been neglected for a long time, not created yesterday.
After all, Ermal is alone!
Where are the deputies, where is the administration; Where are the environmental institutions, which are not in Vlora at all; where is the Road-Bridge institution, which is not even in Vlora?
Where is the Water Supply that depends on the ministry?
All the main institutions of the city have been transferred to Fier, Lushnje or Tirana.
Ermal, as mayor, has no competence or subordinate institution: he only has taxes, cleaning and greening.
This is not a one-man war. And it is not right to look for "culprits for the season" every time a challenge comes before us.
Therefore, it is wrong to hold him accountable and leave the blame solely on Ermal Dredha, or to make him a "scapegoat"!
The Prime Minister and the government should once and for all look for their own mistakes, which have removed all institutions from Vlora and taken them to Fier and Tirana, starting with education and beyond.
No one says that everything is perfect. But anyone who lives in Vlora knows: change has begun. There is a way to go, but there is also real will.
So, let's not forget: when there is success, everyone is part of the picture. But when there is a crisis, no one should shy away from collective responsibility.
So let's not be like those who cheer only at a party and accuse during a storm.
Support in difficult times is what makes a city stronger. And a more determined mayor.
