Much has been said about the Freemasons. The secrecy of this fraternity has given rise to extensive discussion and numerous conspiracy theories. But the Freemasons themselves are still trying to find their origins.
The oldest documents they had dated back to the 14th century and were called the Old Charges. Freemasons are said to have followed rituals since the 17th century, which continue to this day. The Grand Lodge of England is considered to be the first Masonic Lodge. Also the lodges of Scotland and Ireland are recognized as the oldest in the history of Freemasons. There was even a treaty during the 1700s.
During the French revolution in England, an act was established to prohibit any illegal organization. Freemasons were excluded from the constitution and operated freely in the country.
1 – Freemasons are not currently affiliated with the Illuminati
Conspiracy theories claim that the Illuminati is controlling an organization and seeking to establish the New World Order. Being an organization where key political figures are members, theorists say that this Order is staying behind the scenes and moving things around without being noticed. Unlike the Freemasons, the Illuminati is said to be a secret organization that is opposed to any religious influence. It has its origins in Bavaria in 1776.

The famous compass has been part of many Hollywood movies, such as Aliens, American Gangster, The Ant Bully, The Da Vinci Code, Domino, While the movie "Conspiracy Theory" (1997) mentioned the organization and suggested that the current president is a member of the organization.

Hitler stated that Freemasons affiliated with Jews caused Germany's defeat in World War I. He later said that the Freemasons helped the Jews and led them to where they are today in society.
