Genti Pjetri, best known to the public as the "Doctor" of the "Fiks Fare" show, was one of the most popular characters for Albanians, but it seems that he is now "forgotten". Invited to the show "Te Harruarit" Syri Tv, "Doctor" told how his entire journey in the media has been, attributing it to Boyken Lako. He suggested that he try his humor on "Top Albania Radio".
"I used to joke with my friends and society. Bojken Lako told me 'why don't you try it on the radio'. Depends on what radio you told him on, but anyway. "Top Albania Radio is open," he told me, it was 97. I didn't know him, I told him. I met the owner, he apologized and he asked me 'what are you going to do?'. I don't know, I said, what do you have in mind because I have no idea what you are looking for. I made different voices, I started with a lab. Then I had some medical books. Arqile Boti was alive then and I imitated him. Then I would take these books and start making fun of the quotation marks, and pick up Latin terms (imitation Arqile Botin). I wish they would take me on the phone one by one. Ore that doctor said... who doctor? That doctor! What doctor? Doctor, doctor and that's how I got the name 'Doctor'. My name is Genti and that's what only my family members called me,"- said Genti at the beginning of his interview.
Genti Pjetri has recounted the moment when he was separated from the Fiks Fare show, revealing that he had coped very badly. He even added that rumors and ironies within Top Channel had severely affected his health. This is after he went into cerebral ischemia.
“Nuk është se u shkëputa nga Fiks Fare, por unë u bëra armiku i vetes sepse më pëlqente ta pija një gotë raki, por jo ta teproja. Por ja që kur shkoja në punë gjeja një shprehje që thoshin… dhe aty e tejkalova sepse nuk e duroja më atë lloj shprehje. S’ia vlen të flas shumë sepse personi që e ka bërë atë muhabet e di shumë mirë atë muhabet dhe ai e di. Kur ta shohin le të flasin. E dua shumë.. E për të mos luajtur mendsh e mos të kaloja në depresion detyrohesha të pija pak më shumë seç duhet. Kjo nuk është zgjidhje, nuk është e drejtë, por kam heq e kam vuajt, si shumë të tjerë. Ama di të them vetëm diçka… në qoftë se do të dënosh një aktor, hiqe nga skena. Në momentin që mua më hoqën nga ekrani unë kalova në ishemi cerebrale”, rrëfen Pjetri.
Edhe pse kanë kaluar disa vite që është shkëputur nga ekrani, ai thotë se ka projekte për radio dhe televizion dhe një ditë do të rikthehet. Por tani duket se ka një detyrë më të rëndësishme. Atë të kujdesit të prindërve.
“Kam dy prindër, një nga ata ka 3 vjet në krevat fatkeqësisht. Kam edhe një nënë shume narciziste, që gjithë jetën e ka adhuruar veten dhe e adhuron veten. Nuk kam as motër as vëlla, jam laj, tha, vish, hekuros, palos, nxirr xhiro, Ky jam unë!,”-tha ai. Megjithatë e ka një peng. E ajo është humbja e dashurisë më të madhe të jetës së tij. “Doktori” shprehet se ka qenë i dashuruar dikur, por e humbi dhe gjëja që do të adhuronte më së tepërmi ishte nëse do të kishte një fëmijë.
