Sad! The symbolic voice of "Radio Tirana", Vera Zheji, has passed away

The symbolic voice of Radio Tirana, Vera Zheji, passed away this afternoon at the age of 91. The news was made known to her by her family members.
Vera Zheji is the daughter of the Zheji cultural dynasty, the sister of the great linguist and philosopher Petro Zheji and the well-known researcher Petro Zheji.
Vera Zheji was born on January 30, 1933 in Tirana. When she was only 15 years old, in 1948, Vera Zheji became a popular voice when she started reading literary shows in front of the microphone of Radio Tirana. She created various popular radio shows, such as World of Fairy Tales, Popular Radio University, Radio Encyclopedia and several others, which were identified with her unique way of reading and speaking.
Everyone can remember her magical voice reading the 7pm fairy tales in the 70s. Vera Zheji also read news in Italian, a language she mastered very well, because she was inclined to foreign languages like her brother Petro Zheji. Vera Zheji also showed her talent in acting, when she participated in the comedy "rain on the beach" and other theater pieces.
In 1975, Vera Zheji finally left Radio and was appointed lecturer of Artistic Speech in the theater branch, at the Higher Institute of Arts, until 1988 when she retired.
