The wife of the military leader of Ukraine in the hospital after the attempt of poisoning with heavy metals

The wife of the head of Ukraine's military intelligence is in the hospital after a cunning attempt to poison her, local media reported today.
30-year-old Marianna Budanova was reported to have been gradually and deliberately poisoned with heavy metals but is now recovering in the hospital, writes the local Babel network, citing intelligence sources.
Budanova is the wife of General Kyrylo Budanov, 37, who has led combat drone operations in the war with Russia, while Russian elements are also suspected of the latest poisoning attempt.
The exact nature or style of the poisoning is not known, but it is a recurring event after several suspected poisonings of intelligence officials.
Sources said that poison was regularly added to the food.
Local network 'Ukrainska Pravda' quoted a military source as saying: "It is true that Budanov's wife was poisoned, who had been complaining of not feeling well for several weeks, and the truth was revealed after tests. Most likely, the poison was thrown into the food."
"She is better now as she has passed the first stage of treatment. Since Budanov's wife is underweight, the damage was manifested faster in her."
Even in 2004, Ukrainian presidential candidate Viktor Yushchenko was permanently damaged by dioxin poisoning, the signs of which are still present today.
Marianna worked as an assistant to the mayor of Kyiv, Vitalii Klychko, but since the start of the conflict, she had been living with her husband in military quarters.
