Cleans metals

Try putting equal amounts of onion and water in a blender. Then apply the mixture to the metal surfaces and clean with a cloth.

It repels ants

Place some chopped onions in a bowl and leave overnight. The next day you will not find any ant in that particular place.

Removes rust 

Put the rusty knife in an onion and leave it for a while. You will find that onion removes rust.

Relieves pain caused by burning

Place the onion peel on the burned area and it will soothe you instantly. In addition, onion has antibacterial properties and helps to avoid infection.
