Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania have agreed on a plan to speed up Ukrainian wheat exports, according to officials.
Wheat inspections will be moved from the Ukraine-Poland border to a Lithuanian port on the Baltic Sea, Ukraine's agriculture ministry said in a statement on its website.
He said the move would "accelerate transit through Poland," but gave no further details.
Food exports can reach the rest of the globe from the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda, where inspections for pests and plant diseases will be carried out from tomorrow.
Although the deal is aimed at speeding up Ukrainian wheat exports, it could also help ease tensions between Warsaw and Kiev after Poland extended a ban on imports from Ukraine.
