Britain sends munitions containing uranium to Kiev, Russian minister cut: Nuclear conflict inevitable if…

Russia's Defense Minister has warned of a possible "nuclear collision" between Moscow and the West, as he says a potential incident is imminent if it is not followed up under these circumstances.
Shoigu was responding to an announcement from the United Kingdom, which will supply Ukraine with tank ammunition containing uranium.
Speaking in London on Monday, Defense Minister Annabel Goldie said some of the ammunition for the Challenger 2 battle tanks that Britain is sending to Ukraine includes depleted uranium. "Such an action would prompt Russia to respond," Shoigu said.
He also echoed comments made earlier by Vladimir Putin after a summit with Xi Jinping in the Kremlin.
If Great Britain provides the munitions, "Russia will have to respond accordingly, given that the West has already started using weapons with nuclear components," Putin said from the Kremlin.
