Burned three cars with Kosovo license plates, arrested a 36-year-old Serb in the north

The Kosovo police have provided details regarding the arrest of the suspect for burning three cars in the North of Kosovo. The arrested suspect is a 36-year-old Serb with the initials MB

Also, MB is suspected of being involved in the case of the attack with firearms against the Kosovo Police unit, where as a result two police officers suffered gunshot wounds.

Police Notification:

The Kosovo Police, in the wake of the fight against organized crime, the prevention of criminal acts and the arrest of perpetrators of criminal acts, has arrested a suspect, who was wanted on suspicion of involvement in several criminal acts. The arrest of the Kosovar male suspect of Serbian nationality (MB 1987) was carried out today around 17:00, after intensive investigations carried out by the relevant police units.

The suspect, now arrested, was suspected of involvement in the case of the attack with firearms against the Kosovo Police unit, where as a result two police officers suffered gunshot wounds. In connection with this case, a criminal complaint was filed against him for the criminal offenses of "Participation or organization of an organized criminal group", "Attempted murder", "Creating a general danger" and "Assault on an official during the performance of his official duty". The same person is also suspected of burning cars in the region of Zubin Potok, which were registered on the license plates of the Republic of Kosovo. All further actions will be taken in cooperation and coordination with the justice bodies.
