Serious accident in Kosovo, bus carrying school students crashes

A tragic accident occurred near the village of Galicë, in Vushtrri, where a bus transporting students veered off the road.
According to police information, the accident resulted in the death of the 59-year-old driver, while 7 students were injured.
In the first investigations conducted at the scene, the police announced that it is suspected that the cause of the accident was the driver's carelessness and failure to adapt the speed to the road conditions.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of Vushtrri, Ferit Idrizi, reacted on Facebook by expressing his deepest condolences to the family of the driver who lost his life, and expressed his concern about this tragic event.
Local authorities and medical teams quickly arrived at the scene and provided the necessary assistance to the injured students, who were taken to the hospital for treatment.
