Erdogan: Terrorists will never succeed in destroying peace in Turkey

Terrorists trying to destroy peace and security in Turkey will never succeed, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday.
Erdogan's statements came after two police officers were injured when one of the two terrorists blew himself up outside the General Directorate of Security in the Turkish capital of Ankara in the morning.
In his opening speech for the new legislative year of the Parliament, Erdogan said that today's terrorist act, in which two criminals were neutralized thanks to the timely intervention of the police, was a "last wave of terrorism".
He added that the burden of instilling morality in terrorist groups with political calculations will be very heavy.
Two policemen suffered minor injuries when one of the two terrorists blew himself up in front of the General Security Department, while the other terrorist was "neutralized" by the incoming security forces.
The injured policemen are still being treated and their injuries are not life-threatening, according to the Turkish interior minister.
Ankara's Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation into the terrorist attack.
In relation to the attack, the Criminal Court of the Peace of Ankara has issued a ban on access and publication to the media.
