The attack on the police in the north, the two border points with Serbia continue to be closed

Bërnjaku and Jarinja, the two border points of Kosovo with Serbia, continue to be closed since Sunday.

They were closed after the armed attack by several people on the Kosovo police patrol, where one officer was killed and another was injured. The event took place in the village of Banjské in Zveçan.

Later in the day, police killed three attackers and arrested six others. 

The highest leaders of the state of Kosovo, as well as politicians, have condemned this serious event and called for the perpetrators to be brought to justice.
